Bhaktapur

Bkahtapur, like Patan and Kathmandu, was its own little kingdom. Durbar squares are palace-centered and templed liberally. People live and work amongst ancient buildings and shrines; so do dogs and goats and cats. 
On our way home we took the country route and saw mustard blooming and rice fields and neat squares of vegetable fields. The Kathmandu I remember seeing right outside my bedroom window which I actually stood in yesterday but that's a longer story- finding Round House. For now here's today.

  1. Fabulous shots. The colors! The chick. Love to see you and Dennis in some of these pictures. Your line about trees/Brattleboro etc. is a riot. We're about to get a lot of snow here. Probably no Wednesday night workshop . . .
